Decision making in health care is increasingly complex in western societies. Increasing data availability and knowledge create a demand for academic researchers and higher education practitioners in the field of Operations Research and Management Science in the field of Health Care. In 2007 the Nederlands Genootschap Besliskunde (Dutch OR Society) initiated a platform to exchange ideas between academic researchers. As part of the conference a conference dinner and informal get-together are being organized. They will take place on Monday evening November 17 at the Erasmus University campus. The focus of this annual congress is to close the gap between health care managers, practitioners and academic researchers.
