The Workshop Machine Learning and Causal Inference takes place at the Econometric Institute, Erasmus University Rotterdam and follows the two-day 2018 Tinbergen Institute Econometrics Lectures on May 30-31, which this year are given by Guido Imbens (Stanford University, United States) on the same topic. The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts in economics, econometrics, statistics, and optimization, working on theoretical and applied research at the intersection of machine learning and causal inference, to deliberate on recent developments in these areas.
