In 2012 the Amsterdam School of Economics of the University of Amsterdam will host the
Amsterdam Symposium on Behavioral and Experimental Economics for the fourth time. This year the focus will be on Behavioral Economics in Markets and Organizations.
The following leading scholars will present their work:
– Bjorn Bartling
– Anna Dreber
– Uri Gneezy
– Lorenz Goette
– Hans Hvide
– Pedro Rey Biel
– Dirk Sliwka
– Sigrid Suetens
– Catherine Tucker
– Roberto Weber
– Daniel Zizzo

The following local scholars will also present: Silvia Dominguez ,Jeroen Hinloopen, Sander Hoogendoorn, Theo Offerman, Mirjam van Praag, Laura Rosendahl, Ferdinand von Siemens, Randolph Sloof.
For those participants who arrive already on Thursday August 30 we will organize an informal dinner. Friday and Saturday are reserved for the presentations. In total we will have 13 speakers, 8 presentations on Friday, and 5 on Saturday. A timeslot of 45 minutes is dedicated to each paper. The idea is that each presenter will use 35 minutes. the remaining 10 minutes will be reserved for discussion. The Symposium dinner will take place on Friday.
