I introduce a novel allocation game called the Tennis Coach problem, which serves as a platform for studying k-level reasoning. Although level-k thinking is naturally specified in this game, behavior in the experiments illuminates some bounds of this approach. Subsequently, the related Colonel Blotto game is studied experimentally. The results lead to a development of a new concept of multi-dimensional iterated reasoning, according to which a player decides separately about different features of his strategy using iterative reasoning.
